Engineers India secures total business worth Rs 1,438 crore in FY 2012-13

Engineers India (EIL) has secured a total business of Rs 1,438 crore in FY 2012-13, a jump of 89% compared to orders secured in FY 2011-12. The oil industry continued to be the mainstay which contributed most to the new orders. Inflow from overseas business was primarily led by West Asia, with considerable contributions from Africa and Far East Asia.

The consultancy business segment of the company has shown a substantial growth of over 106% to Rs 1,296 crore in 2012-13 compared to Rs 629 crore in 2011-12. This business of Rs 1,296 crore also includes Rs 140 crore from the overseas market.

Engineers India is a total solutions consultancy company and EPC contractor in petroleum refining, petrochemicals, pipelines, oil and gas terminals and storages, fertilizers, mining & metallurgy and infrastructure projects. The company is also diversifying into water and waste management and has made inroads into nuclear, solar and thermal power sectors.
