Canara Bank raises Rs 1403 crore via Bonds

Canara Bank has raised Rs 1403 crore via Non-Convertible, Taxable, Perpetual, Subordinated, Fully Paid Up, Unsecured Basel III Compliant Additional Tier 1 Bonds of face value Rs 1 crore each at a coupon of 8.40%. The said bonds are proposed to be listed on National Stock Exchange of India.

Canara Bank is an Indian state-owned bank headquartered in Bangalore, in Karnataka. It was established at Mangalore in 1906, making it one of the oldest banks in the country.
