Ashoka Buildcon’s arm terminates concession agreement of Cuttack Angul Project

Ashoka Buildcon’s subsidiary, Ashoka Cuttack Angul Tollway has terminated the Concession Agreement in respect of the Project viz. Rehabilitation and upgradation to four laning of Cuttack Angul Section of NH-42 (KM 0.000 to KM 112.000) in the State of Orissa under NHDP Phase III on Design, Build, Finance Operate and Transfer on BOT (Toll) Basis.

Ashoka Cuttack Angul Tollway has terminated the Concession Agreement for the reasons beyond the control of the Company like environmental clearance, forest clearance, land acquisition etc.

Ashoka Buildcon builds and operates roads and bridges in India on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis. It currently operates one of the highest numbers of toll-based BOT projects in India.
