Punj Lloyd bags EPC contract worth Rs 623 crore

Punj Lloyd has bagged an EPC contract worth Rs 623 crore for falcon jetfuel pipeline and bulk terminal facilities from Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), wholly-owned by the Government of Dubai. The project is expected for commissioning by 2013.

As per the contract the company’s scope of work comprises engineering, procurement and construction of jetfuel pipeline 20”/16” x 60 km 141,000 m3 terminal and associated facilities required for Jetfuel handling in the tank farm including tanks, filtration system, fast, flush system, pumping and pigging stations, buildings, E&P etc.

This project will help the company to establish a storage facility at Jebel Au Free Zone Area (JAFZA), which is one of the world’s largest and the fastest growing free zones, for the distribution of various petroleum products to Dubai International Airport (DIA).
