Apollo Tyres declines on reporting 14% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

Apollo Tyres is currently trading at Rs. 465.05, down by 9.10 points or 1.92% from its previous closing of Rs. 474.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 460.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 481.95 and Rs. 459.95 respectively. So far 204678 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 559.85 on 08-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 359.05 on 16-May-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 485.85 and Rs. 459.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 29570.30 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 37.36%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.70% and 20.93% respectively.

Apollo Tyres has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2024.

The company has reported 11.47% fall in its net profit at Rs 211.53 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 238.93 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 1.50% at Rs 4449.02 crore for Q4FY24 as compared Rs 4383.41 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 13.70% fall in its net profit at Rs 354.08 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 410.30 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 1.09% at Rs 6332.52 crore for Q4FY24 as compared Rs 6264.24 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.  

For the year ended March 31, 2024, the company has reported over 2- fold jump in net profit at Rs 1154.03 crore as compared to Rs 519.95 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 1.72% at Rs 17675.13 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 17376.15 crore for year ended March 31, 2023.

For the year ended March 31, 2024, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 64.64% rise in its net profit at Rs 1721.87 crore as compared to Rs 1045.84 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 3.75% at Rs 25531.29 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 24609.22 crore for year ended March 31, 2023.
