IFB Agro to split capital expenditure at distillery in two phases

IFB Agro Industries has received an approval to split the capital expenditure at its distillery situated at Noorpur, South 24-Parganas in state of West Bengal in two phases due to imposition of spirit removal fee of Rs 2 per BL imposed by the State Government. The board of directors at its meeting held on May 30, 2013 has approved for the same.

The board has also authorized the Managing Director of the company to discuss with Investment Banks for suitable strategic buy out of businesses in its existing space for its growth.

IFB Agro Industries is one of the largest producers of alcohol in Eastern India. The company is also engaged in the production of Carbon Dioxide Gas & processing of Marine Products for Export as well as for the Indian market.
