Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation’s workers working at the company’s plant situated at Taloja, Raigad district in Maharashtra, have called off strike upon amicable settlement of the said issues and signing of a long term wage agreement with the Union. This will lead to a reduction in 153 positions as well as annual leave. Workers will resume duty from June 06, 2013.
The workers have gone on strike from January 03, 2013 on account of dispute over disciplinary action taken by the management, productivity issues and wage settlement.
