Garware Hi-Tech Films moves up on getting nod for capacity addition plan

Garware Hi-Tech Films is currently trading at Rs. 1782.00, up by 12.65 points or 0.71% from its previous closing of Rs. 1769.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1777.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1819.40 and Rs. 1777.05 respectively. So far 694 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2197.00 on 21-Feb-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 664.50 on 31 May-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1819.40 and Rs. 1558.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4110.62 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.72%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 4.53% and 34.76% respectively.

Garware Hi-Tech Films has received approval for capacity addition plan of 300 Light Sensitive Fabric per annum (LSF/P.A.) for new PPF line at Waluj, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. The investment required for said expansion is around Rs 125 crore. The Board of Directors of the Company at their Meeting held on May 29, 2024 have approved the same. 

Garware Hi-Tech Films is engaged in the manufacture of polyester film.
