ZEE’s edutainment channel 'ZeeQ' partners with BBC Worldwide

Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEE) - first edutainment channel - ‘ZeeQ’ has partnered with BBC Worldwide to bring a time band of programmes from BBC’s preschool brand - CBeebies - to Indian audience. The licence agreement will see ZeeQ airing preschoolers’ CBeebies programmes from July 1. The shows will be dubbed in Hindi for the channel’s dual language feed.

ZeeQ currently caters to the 4-14 year age segment and this association will help tap the pre-school segment as well (0-3 years) and strengthen its current portfolio of programmes. Currently, the channel airs a mix of live action and animated shows. It reaches about 20 million households.
