BCPL Railway Infrastructure, Ashoka Buildcon and Adani Ports to see some action today

BCPL Railway Infrastructure has bagged three orders under different zones of Indian Railways. The company has signed an agreement for execution of 25 KV Electrification work over Firozpur Division of Northern Railway comprising of Rs 53.26 million and is expected to be executed over a period of 9 months. Orders have been received for execution of Traction Substation work at Barasat under Sealdah Division of Eastern Railway comprising of Rs 24.98 million and is expected to be executed over a period of 12 months. 

Ashoka Buildcon has emerged as Lowest Bidder (L1) for the two projects of Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation. The company has emerged as L1 for construction of Major Bridge across Jaigad Creek between Tawsal and Jaigad on Revas Reddi Coastal Highway (SH (special) No. 5 in Ratnagiri District on EPC Mode in state of Maharashtra’. The quoted bid price of the said project is Rs 794.85 crore plus applicable GST. 

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone’s (APSEZ) wholly owned subsidiary -- Adani International Ports Holdings Pte (AIPH) has signed a 30-year concession agreement with the Tanzania Ports Authority to operate and manage a terminal at the Dar es Salaam Port in the east African country.

Maruti Suzuki India has reduced prices of its AGS (Auto Gear Shift) variants across its models. The prices of AGS variants across models (Alto K10, S-Presso, Celerio, Wagon-R, Swift, Dzire, Baleno, Fronx & Ignis) have been reduced by Rs 5,000, with effect from June 1, 2024.

Aztec Fluids & Machinery has acquired 38,92,858 (81.95%) shares of Jet Inks from its shareholders and by virtue of the said acquisition, Jet Inks has become wholly owned subsidiary of the Company. The objective of acquisition is to diversify the customer base, leverage on its manufacturing capacity & sales network and strengthen its presence in South region of India.

Sealmatic India (Sealmatic) has secured the most prestigious order for mechanical seals and supply systems (API 682 Plans) from a key Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Kirloskar Ebara Pumps, through Engineers India for the Mongol Refinery project. Valued at an impressive Rs 15 crore, this order is a significant milestone in Sealmatic's history. The project encompasses the supply of 247 nos of mechanical seals and 187 nos of API 682 Plans, including API Plan 52 of 87 nos, 74 nos of API Plan 53B, and 26 nos API Plan 21 & 23. These numbers represent the largest quantity ever supplied by any seal company for a refinery project.

Life Insurance Corporation of India has increased its shareholding in PI Industries, a leading player on the agro-chemicals space having strong presence in both domestic and export markets, from 75,19,910 to 75,91,910 equity shares, i.e., 4.95% to 5.00% of the paid-up capital of the said Company.
