Energy Efficiency Services (EESL), a joint venture (JV) of four PSUs including NTPC, Power Finance Corporation, Rural Electrification Corporation & Power Grid Corporation, has joined hands with the Energy Management Centre, Kerala, and Central University of Jharkhand.
The collaborative agreements aim to expedite the widespread adoption of energy-efficient measures in India. As part of the initiative, a range of energy-efficient appliances, including LED bulbs, BEE 5-star rated BLDC fans, LED tube lights, emergency rechargeable inverter bulbs, super-efficient air conditioners, and induction cook stoves, will be made available. Consumers can purchase these directly via EESLMart on the DISCOM website, with after-sales warranty services assured.
Also, EESL has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Central University of Jharkhand to further their collaboration on energy efficiency measures. These efforts highlight a robust commitment to sustainable energy and efficient resource utilization.
NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
