Indiabulls Power gains on commencing commercial operation of Phase I at Amravati

Indiabulls Power is currently trading at Rs. 8.02, up by 0.25 points or 3.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 7.77 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 8.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 8.18 and Rs. 8.00 respectively. So far 92,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 16.18 on 04-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 7.70 on 06-Jun-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 8.14 and Rs. 7.70 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2,119.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.79% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 20.34% and 18.86% respectively.

Indiabulls Power’s 1st unit (270 MW) of 1350 MW (5x270 MW) Phase I thermal power plant at Amravati, Maharashtra has commenced commercial operation and has started supply of power under long term power purchase agreement to Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company.
