Name of the authority -Adjudicating Officer & Joint Commissioner (Amravati Division), Food and Drug Administration, Amravati. 2. Nature and details of the action(s) taken, initiated or order(s) passed -Penalty has been imposed on the Company and Manufacturer of the product. The Company has been directed to pay penalty of Rs.15,000. 3. Date of receipt of direction or order, including any ad-interim or interim orders, or any other communication from the authority - June 21, 2024 4. Details of the violation(s)/contravention(s) committed or alleged to be committed -The order has been issued in respect of violation of certain provisions of Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) Regulation 2011 read with Food Safety and Standards (Packaging and Labelling) Regulation 2011 for misbranding of a food product produced by the manufacturer and sold in the DMart store located at Amravati Camp, Amravati, Maharashtra. 5. Impact on financial, operation or other activities of the listed entity, quantifiable in monetary terms to the extent possible - The financial impact of the aforesaid order is to the extent of the penalty imposed. There is no material impact on the operations or other activities of the Company due to the said order.
