Bharti Infratel gets Delhi high court’s nod to merge its arm with Indus Towers

Bharti Infratel has received approval from Delhi high court for scheme of arrangement for merger of ‘Bharti Infratel Ventures’, wholly owned subsidiary company with Indus Towers. The said merger has become effective from June 11, 2013.

Bharti Infratel is a provider of tower and related infrastructure. It is one of the largest tower infrastructure providers in India, based on the number of towers that Bharti Infratel owns and operates and the number of towers owned or operated by Indus, that are represented by Bharti Infratel’s 42% equity interest in Indus.
