Nestle India falls despite reporting 7% rise in Q1 net profit

Nestle India is currently trading at Rs. 2477.00, down by 66.80 points or 2.63% from its previous closing of Rs. 2543.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2543.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2557.10 and Rs. 2465.40 respectively. So far 69052 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2770.75 on 02-Jan-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2145.28 on 18-Aug-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2645.00 and Rs. 2465.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 238812.09 crore.

Nestle India has reported 6.91% rise in its net profit at Rs 746.60 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2024 (Q1FY25) as compared to Rs 698.34 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 3.64% at Rs 4853.07 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 4682.48 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
