Tata Steel's Indian business reports 5% growth in crude steel production in Q2FY25

Tata Steel's Indian business has registered 4.98% rise in crude steel production at 5.27 million tons (MT) in Q2FY25 as compared to 5.02 MT it had produced during Q2FY24. Its deliveries report marginal rise to 5.10 MT in the Q2FY25 period from 4.82 MT a year ago. 

Tata Steel Netherlands liquid steel production stood at 1.68 MT, up Year-On-Year (YoY) and broadly stable on Quarter on quarter (QOQ) basis. Deliveries at 1.57 MT include volumes to UK operations of around 0.19 MT. 

Tata Steel UK liquid steel production stood at 0.38 MT while deliveries were around 0.64 MT. Operations have ceased at the remaining blast furnace at Port Talbot paving the way for the next generation of green steelmaking.
