Ola Electric Mobility catches speed on launching Gig, S1 Z range of scooters

OLA Electric Mobility is currently trading at Rs. 83.32, up by 9.85 points or 13.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 73.47 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 77.71 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 84.60 and Rs. 75.20 respectively. So far 15255022 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 157.53 on 20-Aug-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 66.60 on 22-Nov-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 84.60 and Rs. 66.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 36631.94 crore.

Ola Electric Mobility has launched its Gig and S1 Z range of scooters, designed to unlock the full potential of electric mobility for the masses. The new range of scooters comprises Ola Gig, Ola Gig+, Ola S1 Z, and Ola S1 Z+ available at an introductory pricing of Rs 39,999 (ex-showroom), Rs 49,999 (ex-showroom), Rs 59,999 (ex-showroom), and Rs 64,999 (ex-showroom), respectively. The reservations for both the Gig and S1 Z series are open at just Rs 499 starting from November 26, 2024. The new range of scooters offers durable, reliable, affordable, and flexible solutions, including removable batteries, fulfilling personal and commercial use cases of rural, semi-urban, and urban customers.

With the new range of products, coupled with the existing portfolio, the company aims to further revolutionise access to EVs with a wide range of affordable offerings across categories, catering to a broad spectrum of customers, thereby democratising electric mobility for all. Deliveries of the Ola Gig and Ola S1 Z series will begin starting April 2025, and May 2025, respectively.

The company has also launched its Roadster motorcycle series, comprising Roadster X (2.5 kWh, 3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh), Roadster (3.5 kWh, 4.5 kWh, 6 kWh), and Roadster Pro (8 kWh, 16 kWh). The motorcycles offer many segment-first technology and performance features, with their prices starting from Rs 74,999, Rs 1,04,999, and Rs 1,99,999, respectively.
