Bharat Electronics inches up on securing additional orders worth Rs 634 crore

Bharat Electronics is currently trading at Rs. 315.65, up by 1.15 points or 0.37% from its previous closing of Rs. 314.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 317.85 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 318.25 and Rs. 314.85 respectively. So far 232114 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 340.35 on 10-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 159.45 on 11-Dec-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 320.85 and Rs. 310.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 231391.05 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.14%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.48% and 11.38% respectively.

Bharat Electronics (BEL) has secured additional orders worth Rs 634 crore for maintenance of Akash Missile System, telescopic sights for guns, communication equipment, jammers, electronic voting machines, test stations, spares, services etc. With these orders, BEL has now accumulated orders totaling Rs 8,828 crore in the current financial year.

BEL is a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-unit conglomerate with various products in the areas of military communication, radars, naval systems, C4I systems, weapon systems, homeland security, telecom & broadcast systems, electronic warfare, tank electronics, electro-optics, professional electronic components and solar photovoltaic systems.
