Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, has won the ‘Best In-flight Meal in Economy for 2012’ at the Monitor Awards held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Renowned for the warmth and hospitality of its acclaimed in-flight service, Jet Airways emerged victorious from a field comprising of several leading airlines. Jet Airways was also nominated as one of the three airlines for the ‘Best Short-Haul Airline’. Monitor awards is judged annually and the most prestigious Airline awards in Bangladesh. The winner was selected by a panel of judges and also feedback from over 2000 frequent travelers from Bangladesh.
Jet Airways currently operates a fleet of 111 aircraft, which include 10 Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft, 10 Airbus A330-200 aircraft, 4 Airbus A330-300 aircraft, 70 next generation Boeing 737-700/800/900 aircraft and 16 ATR 72-500 and 1 ATR72-600.
