REC’s wholly owned subsidiary -- REC Power Development and Consultancy has incorporated wholly owned subsidiary in the name of Rajgarh III Power Transmission. The company has been incorporated for transmission system for evacuation of power from RE projects in Rajgarh (1500 MW) SEZ in Madhya Pradesh-Phase III.
Earlier, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary -- REC Power Development and Consultancy had incorporated two subsidiary companies namely ‘Mahan Transmission’ and ‘Kurnool-IV Transmission’.
REC is engaged in providing financial assistance to state electricity boards, state government departments and rural electric cooperatives for rural electrification projects as are sponsored by them.
