Bajaj Corp surges on reporting 25% rise in Q1 net profit

Bajaj Corp is currently trading at Rs. 246.00, up by 6.30 points or 2.63% from its previous closing of Rs. 239.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 239.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 247.20 and Rs. 238.35 respectively. So far 22346 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 284.00 on 13-May-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 128.00 on 02-Aug-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 255.00 and Rs. 233.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3540.00 crore.

The company reported 24.96% rise in its net profit at Rs 47.01 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 37.62 crore for the June quarter of the previous year. The company’s total income from operation grew by 23.14% at Rs 170.23 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 138.24 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
