Dodla Dairy informs about disclosure

Pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI Listing Regulations, 2015, Dodla Dairy has informed that the Hon'ble Andhra Pradesh High Court has issued a favorable order setting aside the demand order dated 16-12-2024 passed by Additional Commissioner (ST), Tirupati, on classification of flavoured milk under Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime. The demand order alleging classification of flavored milk under GST Tariff Heading No. 2202 9930, attracting a tax rate of 6% CGST and 6% SGST (IGST 12%). Consequently, it sought a differential GST liability of INR 30.11 lakhs for the period from April 2018 to March 2019, along with an interest of INR 14.08 lakhs and a penalty of INR 3.01 lakhs. The Company had paid an amount of INR 30.11 lakhs under protest without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the law. The Company had filed a Writ Petition before the Hon'ble High Court of Andhra Pradesh challenging the demand order on 14-02-2025, After reviewing the matter, the Hon'ble HC ruled that flavored milk falls under Tariff Heading No. 0402 9990, which attracts the tax rate of 2.5% CGST and 2.5% SGST (IGST 5%). Accordingly, the High Court set aside the demand for differential GST, penalties, and interest. The Company is in the process of claiming a refund of INR 30.11 Lakhs as per the order passed by Hon’ble HC.  The details as required under the SEBI Listing Regulations, 2015 are enclosed.
