Canara Bank raises Rs 4000 crore through bonds

Canara Bank has raised Rs 4000 crore, 7.46% Unsecured, Subordinated, Listed, Rated, Non-Convertible, Redeemable, Fully-paid-up, Taxable, Basel III Compliant Tier II bonds in the nature of Debentures of face Value Rs 1 crore each. Interest will be paid annually on March 18 every year till maturity or call option date whichever is earlier.

Canara Bank is an Indian state-owned bank headquartered in Bangalore, in Karnataka. It was established at Mangalore in 1906, making it one of the oldest banks in the country.
