Kansai Nerolac jumps on buzz of inking pact with KidZania

Kansai Nerolac is currently trading at Rs. 1069.00, up by 28.40 points or 2.73% from its previous closing of Rs. 1040.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1040.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1099.00 and Rs. 1040.00 respectively. So far 477 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1300.00 on 05-Jun-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 865.15 on 13-Sep-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1083.90 and Rs. 1035.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 5696.65 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.27% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 16.09% and 14.64% respectively.

Kansai Nerolac Paints (KNPL) has reportedly tied up with KidZania, an 'indoor' family edutainment theme park for kids. As per the tie up, the company will provide eco-friendly paints, rollers and brushes to the kids thus helping them bring out their artistic streak.

Kansai Nerolac Paints is engaged in the industrial, automotive and powder coating business. Kansai Nerolac is the second largest paint manufacturer in India and has a presence in decorative and industrial paints. The company’s brands include Impressions, Beauty, Excel and Surakhsa.
