Bajaj Auto rises on launching Boxer 150 motorcycle in Egypt

Bajaj Auto is currently trading at Rs 1733.85, up by 6.15 points or 0.36% from its previous closing of Rs 1727.70 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 1726.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 1738.50 and Rs 1715.20 respectively. So far 9163 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 1822.15 on 28-Oct-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs 1189.60 on 09-Feb-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 1773.80 and Rs 1690.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 49993.94 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 50.02% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.25% and 25.66% respectively.

Bajaj Auto has launched its new Boxer 150 motorcycle, with an engine capacity of 150-cc, in the Egyptian market.

The Boxer 150 is equipped with ExhausTec technology, which is environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient.
