IG Petrochem trades in green on commencing commercial production from PA-3 plant at Taloja

IG Petrochemicals is currently trading at Rs. 19.00, up by 0.65 points or 3.54% from its previous closing of Rs. 18.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 18.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 19.00 and Rs. 18.10 respectively. So far 1685 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 44.00 on 31-Oct-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 15.50 on 07-Oct-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 19.50 and Rs. 17.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 55.74 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 71.88%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.06% and 28.07% respectively.

IG Petrochemicals has commenced commercial production from PA-3 located at Taloja in state of Maharashtra and the operation of the plant is stabilized. The company has taken this step after successful completion of trial runs of the Phthalic Anhydride expansion project (PA-3) of 50,000 MT.

IG Petrochemicals is a dominant player in the domestic Phthalic Anhydride (PAN) industry. IGPL has its manufacturing facilities located at Taloja, Maharashtra.
