DCI takes over back-hoe dredger built by Netherland based De Donge

Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) has taken over a back-hoe dredger with BA 800 excavator DCI Dredge BH-1 built by shipyard ‘De Donge’, The Netherlands at a contract price of approximately Rs 129 crore (Euro 18,500,000) on November 22, 2011.

Earlier in February this year, the company had signed a contract with IHC Dredgers BV of the Netherlands for design, construction and supply of a trailer suction hopper dredger.
