Idea Cellular unveils Ultra smartphone at Rs 10,500

Idea Cellular, one of the biggest cellular carrier of the country has unveiled the Idea Ultra, the company’s first smartphone with a 5-inch display. This new smartphone is compatible with 3G and dual-SIM and is available across all its 3G circles for Rs 10,500.

Under the hood, the handset comes with a powerful 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor,  Jelly Bean OS, 8Mpx primary camera, 4 GB internal memory and a 2000mAh long lasting battery. Ultra is an ideal smart phone for today’s youth, students as well as professionals, looking for a premium smart phone which offers value for money without compromising on style and features.

Idea Cellular, an AV Birla group company, provides Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)-based wireless service at the pan-India level, it is present in all 22 telecom circles. The company has added 12.07 lakh mobile subscribers in September, 2013. Following the addition, the company’s total subscriber count stood at 12.72 crore with a market share of 18.74%.
