Idea Cellular surges on adding 11.50 lakh mobile subscribers in October

Idea Cellular is currently trading at Rs 174.60, up by 0.25 points or 0.14% from its previous closing of Rs 174.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 175.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 176.40 and Rs 173.50 respectively. So far 16667 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 188.35 on 15-Oct-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs 91.50 on 23-Nov-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 177.50 and Rs 166.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 57835.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 45.85% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 22.19% and 31.96% respectively.

Idea Cellular, one of the biggest cellular carrier of the country has added 11.50 lakh mobile subscribers in October, 2013. Following the addition, the company’s total subscriber count stood at 12.83 crore with a market share of 18.79%.

Idea Cellular, an AV Birla group company, provides Global System for Mobile communications (GSM)-based wireless service at the pan-India level, it is present in all 22 telecom circles.
