Tata Power sets up homeopathic health care centres in Odisha

Tata Power, India's largest integrated power utility, has inaugurated homeopathic health care centres at Mantira and Pankapal villages in Kalinganagar in Odisha. The centres have been set up by Tata Power in association with Tata Steel through its joint venture company Industrial Energy. The centres will provide free professional medical consultation and medicines to the villagers on the basis of the doctor's prescriptions and advice.

The objective of the centres is to provide better health care facilities to the local community belonging to the Kalinganagar project areas and continuously service their requirements. The centre has been set up as a part of the CSR activities implemented in this area, engaging and partnering local institutions, schools, colleges, government authorities and youth clubs. Tata Power lays additional emphasis on the topics of health, energy and education, which are an integral part of the development of society.
