Siemens edges higher on the plan of selling twelve residential apartment properties in Mumbai

Siemens is currently trading at Rs. 624.75, up by 4.35 points or 0.70% from its previous closing of Rs 620.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 620.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 630.50 and Rs. 616.00 respectively. So far 24347 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 695.25 on 04-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 414.05 on 03-Sep-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 661.30 and Rs. 619.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 22156.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 75.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.14% and 12.86% respectively.

Siemens is all set to sell its 12 residential apartment properties in Mumbai for Rs 40 crore. The properties comprise flats at various Mumbai suburbs such as Bandra, Santacruz, Khar, Juhu, Versova, Chembur and Dadar. The size of the properties ranges from 800 to 1,700 sq ft, including 2BHKs, 3BHKs and row houses.

The company will sell the same through a close bid or auction process. In this regard, the company has appointed Real estate consultant Jones Lang Lasalle to divest these properties.

Siemens is the flagship listed company of Siemens AG in India and is a major player in the electronics and electrical engineering business. Germany’s Siemens AG holds a 75 per cent stake in the company.
