Other two major telecom operators, Vodafone and Bharti Airtel followed Idea Cellular with net gains of 12.06 lakh and 2.95 lakh customers, respectively.
Recently, the company has ventured into the mobile handset space with the launch of two 3G smartphones.At a price starting at Rs 5,850, the company has claimed its phones to be the cheapest 3G smartphones available in the country.Targeted at Idea customers in urban and semi-urban parts, the company is providing a data-bundling offer for 3G customers who buy the smartphone.
