Reliance Infrastructure is currently trading at Rs 407.15, up by 0.85 points or 0.21% from its previous closing of Rs 406.30 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs 406.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs 408.65 and Rs 402.05 respectively. So far 144852 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 893.75 on 04-Jan-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs 366.30 on 03-Oct-2011.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 417.95 and Rs 401.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 10692.45 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 48.40% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.06% and 14.94% respectively.
Reliance Infrastructure is likely to start toll collection at its 10 road projects by the end of this fiscal. These projects are being executed at an estimated investment of Rs 10,000 crore. After completion, these projects are expected to generate revenue of Rs 1,200-1,400 crore per annum. These 10 projects would be fully-commissioned by 2014.
Out of these 10 projects six projects of Reliance Infrastructure will become revenue operational by March, 2012 and four have already started generating revenues. In these six-pending projects, tolling can be commenced parallel to the commencement of construction from the day financial closure is achieved. The company is executing these projects of the National Highways Authority of India under the public-private-partnership (PPP) model and will earn revenue from toll collected from traffic.
These projects include six-lining of NH 4 between Pune and Satara of length 140 km in Maharashtra, six- lining of NH 7 between Hosur and Krishnagiri of length 60 km in Tamil Nadu, six- lining of NH 2 between Delhi and Agra of length 180 km in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, the company has 25 infrastructure projects totaling Rs 40,000 crore in hand, including these 10 projects.
