Aban Offshore trades jubilantly on receiveing LOA for deployment of jack-up rig Deep Driller 5

Aban Offshore is currently trading at Rs. 443.85, up by 19.80 points or 4.67% from its previous closing of Rs. 424.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 426.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 444.85 and Rs. 425.70 respectively. So far 714601 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 444.85 on 08-Jan-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 200.05 on 31-Jul-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 444.85 and Rs. 360.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1881.87 crore.

Aban Offshore has received letter of award (LOA) for the deployment of the jack-up rig Deep Driller 5, owned by the company's step down subsidiary, Offshore Vietnam, for a firm period of 1 year and an optional period of 1 year.

The estimated revenue from the deployment during the firm period is about $61.3 million and the contract is likely to commence during April 2014.
