Shoppers Stop trades jubilantly on the BSE

Shoppers Stop is currently trading at Rs. 419.00, up by 17.50 points or 4.36 % from its previous closing of Rs. 401.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 401.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 422.15 and Rs. 396.35 respectively. So far 2776 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 463.85 on 08-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 317.70 on 28-Oct-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 430.00 and Rs. 394.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3314.68 crore.

Shoppers Stop has closed down ‘Crossword’ franchisee stores located at Pune. Pursuant to this, there are now only 84 ‘Crossword’ stores.

Shoppers Stop is engaged in the retailing business. It runs a chain of departmental stores with brands including Shopper’s Stop, Home Stop, Crossword, Cafes and Restaurants etc.
