Jetking Infotrain, Information Technology hardware and networking training provider, has been awarded a contract worth over Rs 33 crore by the Government of Gujarat to train students in computer hardware and networking. This contract will be executed over the next three years partly through the company’s business partners and partly by the company. This contract has opened up a whole new business opportunity for the company.
Jetking Infotrain has initiated an ambitious project of digitizing the JCHNE content. Once this project is completed, it will ensure that training is delivered in a uniform manner across the company’s centers. The benefits of this project will be reduced dependence on senior faculties, reduce batch delay thereby minimizing revenue leakage and faculties can now be trained in house with the help of this software thereby reducing the time required to upgrade the faculties for the higher modules.
The company in association with Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) has launched a 3 year degree program BSc -IT (IMS). So far 15 centers are active and Jetking has enrolled 28 students for this program.
Jetking has also launched a practical intensive course titled Jetking Intensive Networking Course. The salient features of this course is that it is 100% practical oriented course, the student will be employed at L2 level rather than at trainee level on completion of this course. It has been designed after doing an intensive research of over 50 companies and their common problems vis-a-vis Jetking students and this will be the only course in India which has minimum salary guarantee.
Further, Jetking Infotrain has tied up with a local university in this Southeast Asian country. The company has signed an international agreement with FPT University in Hanoi to set up ‘Jetking Learning Centers’ for capacity building and talent development in Vietnam.
