Pantaloon Retail (India) trades higher on the bourses

Pantaloon Retail (India) is currently trading at Rs 191.00, up by 4.60 points or 2.47% from its previous closing of Rs. 186.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 185.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 192.85 and Rs 178.40 respectively. So far 3089608 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 418.00 on 06-Dec-2010 and a 52 week low of Rs 148.45 on 16-Nov-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 216.00 and Rs 178.40 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 4164.54 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.66% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 43.60% and 12.73% respectively.

Pantaloon Retail India has clarified that the company has not entered into any agreement with Deccan Chronicle for selling Future Capital Holding. The company has denied any such transaction at this stage.

Pantaloon Retail was responding to a newspaper report that ‘Biyani Sells Future Capital to Deccan Chronicle for Rs 700 crore’.
