BS TransComm bags orders worth Rs 244 crore

BS TransComm, a leading turnkey service and technology solutions provider to power and telecom has secured new orders worth Rs 244 crore in its Power division for EPC, turnkey and tower supply contracts. The company has received an order for engineering, procurement and construction of a 765kv quad S/C Transmisssion line for Raichur Sholapur Transmission Company. The order is to be executed by July 2013.

The firm has also won orders from Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission for setting up of two substations of 132/33 kv in Raipur. The scope of works includes design, supply, erection and testing and commissioning on a turnkey basis and the completion period for both the projects twelve months.

It has also bagged order from Power Grid in a domestic competitive bidding in a joint venture. The order is for supply of tower package for 765kv S/C Jaipur-Lakha ka Nangal Transmission line spanning 126kms which is associated with the Phase I generation project in Orissa.

BS TransComm is engaged in the business of manufacturing and supply of towers to the telecommunication and the power sector in India with a pan India presence in 19 out of the 23 telecom circles. It is having eight circle offices throughout India through which it is providing service to the customers in 19 telecom circles.
