Tanishq plans to open 25-30 large format retail stores across India

Titan Industries' jewellery brand Tanishq is planning to open 25-30 large format retail stores every year across India. The company is likely to spend more in marketing and design innovation to increase its share in the estimated $25 billion market by launching new products.

The company is aiming stores in big cities with 10,000 square feet and in smaller towns with an average size of around 4,000 square feet. Besides, expanding its retail network, the company is also launching new collections and brands to target new customers. For the new collection, it has partnered with World Gold Council. Currently, the company operates 131 Tanishq stores in 76 cities across the country.

Recently, Tanishq launched a new 'Glam Gold Collection' inspired by traditional Nakkashi technique of Tamil Nadu, elaborate Rajasthani kundan and enameling.
