Precision Electronics ventures into new area of airfield infrastructure modernization

Precision Electronics is venturing into new area of airfield infrastructure modernization and has received contract to undertake this activity from TATA Power Strategic Electronic Division who are the prime contractor for the project modernization of airfield infrastructure (MAFI) of Ministry of Defence.

Also, the company has decided to shut down the printed circuit board (PCB) unit at Noida as the PCB plant is more than 20 years old and the productivity have been severely affected due to frequent breakdown. Moreover, the current plant is unable to produce PCBs of the technical specifications required by the user and as such the plant is not techno commercially viable.

The board at its meeting held on December 15, 2011 has discussed and considered the above.

Precision Electronics is engaged in the business of design and manufacturing, marketing and selling of Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and Telecom Transmission Equipment. The company’s products find scope in industrial electronic equipment manufacturers, telecom service providers and are used by PSUs like BSNL, MTNL, besides other Govt. client like Ministry of Defence, Home Affairs, Airport Authority of India, Oil Companies etc.
