About Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (ABFRL) emerged after the consolidation of the branded apparel businesses of Aditya Birla Group comprising ABNL's Madura Fashion division and ABNL's subsidiaries Pantaloons Fashion and Retail (PFRL) and Madura Fashion & Lifestyle (MFL) in May 2015. Post the consolidation, PFRL was renamed Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail. The company is a part of the Aditya Birla Group.

Business area of the company:

Lifestyle Brands: ABFRL's Lifestyle Brands is home to some of India's most iconic brands - Louis Philippe, Van Heusen, Allen Solly and Peter England - all market leaders within their segment. With their signature styles, high quality products and differentiated in-store experience, these brands have garnered immense customer loyalty and recall.

Pantaloons: Pantaloons is India’s favourite Fast Fashion shopping destination, catering to the apparel and lifestyle needs of the modern Indian. Over the past two decades, Pantaloons has emerged as one of the strongest brands in the industry making it an accessible fashion favourite across the length and breadth of the country. Pantaloons offers customers a host of well-loved house labels as well as national brands across categories like casual wear, ethnic wear, formal wear, party wear and active wear for men, women and kids. Non-apparel products include footwear, handbags, cosmetics, fashion jewellery and home decor.

Fast Fashion: In July 2016, ABFRL acquired the exclusive online and offline rights to the India network of California-based Fast Fashion brand 'Forever 21'. The partnership between Forever 21 and ABFRL marks a milestone in the creation of ABFRL as the largest integrated branded fashion player in India, with a strong foothold in the women’s wear segment, given the growing popularity of Fast Fashion in the young demographics of the country.

Other Businesses: The company caters to the contemporary customer who is aware of international trends and traditional styles. Its portfolio includes ‘Van Heusen Innerwear’ and ethnic brands such as 'Jaypore' and 'Shantanu & Nikhil', which represent Indian decadence and modern grandeur. Its International business includes 'Simon Carter', 'The Collective' - India's largest international multi-brand retailer, select 'mono brands' and several 'premium global brands'.
