Tech Mahindra has informed that Tech Mahindra has received two communications from the Income Tax department, Ministry of Finance directing to pay penalty in connection with the assessment of the income tax returns filed by the Company pursuant to Section 143(3) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 for the assessment years 2015-16 and 2016-17. The details of the order and communications received from the Income Tax department as required under Regulation 30(6) read with Clause 20 of Para A of Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI Listing Regulations and the SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/CFDPoD1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated 13th July, 2023, are enclosed as Annexure ‘A’.
