M&M reports 16% rise in overall auto sales in December

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has reported a 15.92% rise in its overall auto sales (including exports) at 69768 units for the month of December 2024 as compared to 60,188 units in the same month last year. Of the total, the company has posted 18% increase in domestic passenger vehicles sales at 41,424 units in December 2024, as compared to 35,174 units of passenger vehicles in December 2023. 

Domestic sales of three-wheelers, including electric 3Ws, were at 5,750 units in December 2024, as compared to 5,307 units in December 2023, a growth of 8%. The domestic sales for Commercial Vehicles (LCV 2 T - 3.5 T) stood at 16,139 vehicles. Sales of Commercial Vehicles (LCV > 3.5T + MHCV) stood at 954 units. The exports of the company increased 70% to 3,092 units in December 2024 as compared to 1,819 units in December 2023.
