M&M rides high after its Farm Equipment Sector reports 20% rise in December tractor sales

Mahindra & Mahindra is currently trading at Rs. 3053.00, up by 46.05 points or 1.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 3006.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3039.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3071.00 and Rs. 2994.80 respectively. So far 14860 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3221.10 on 27-Sep-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1575.25 on 24-Jan-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3073.00 and Rs. 2922.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 379350.91 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 18.54%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 68.30% and 13.15% respectively.

Mahindra & Mahindra’s (M&M) Farm Equipment Sector (FES) has reported 20% rise in total tractor sales (Domestic + Exports) during December 2024 at 22,943 units, as against 19,138 units for the same period last year. Exports for the month stood at 924 units. Domestic sales in December 2024 were at 22,019 units, as against 18,028 units during December 2023, increasing by 22%.
