SCI surges on giving physical delivery of ‘mv Devprayag’ to its buyer

Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) is currently trading at Rs. 49.65, up by 0.75 points or 1.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 48.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 48.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 50.30 and Rs. 48.50 respectively. So far 35476 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 136.15 on 04-Jan-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 48.70 on 30-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 52.60 and Rs. 48.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 2301.05 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.75% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 23.27% and 12.98% respectively.

SCI has sold a Handymax Bulk Carrier ‘mv Devprayag’ admeasuring 47,349 DWT and handed over its physical delivery to its buyer.

Recently, the company had given physical delivery of its bulk carrier ‘mv Rishikesh’ to its buyer. MV Rishikesh is a Handymax Bulk Carrier, built in 1986 with DWT 47318.8 MT capacity.
