Gulf Oil Corp advances as New Leaina Investments acquires 15 lakh shares of company

Gulf Oil Corporation is currently trading at Rs. 195.00, up by 4.35 points or 2.28% from its previous closing of Rs. 190.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 196.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 197.00 and Rs. 191.00 respectively. So far 6413 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'T' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 190.65 on 04-Jul-2014 and a 52 week low of Rs. 62.10 on 28-Aug-2013.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 190.65 and Rs. 161.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 966.66 crore.

New Leaina Investments has bought 15 lakh shares of Gulf Oil Corporation through open market route. The shares were purchased on an average price of Rs 189.45 valuing the transaction to Rs 28.42 crore. On the other hand, Girdharilal V Lakhi has sold 9.64 lakh shares of the company for an average price of Rs 188.68 through open market route.

Gulf Oil Corporation is engaged in manufacturing industrial explosives, mining products, lubricants, speciality oils and chemicals, active pharma ingredients (bulk drugs) and pharma formulations.
