Lanco Infratech gains on receiving approval to issue Rs 350 crore convertible debentures

Lanco Infratech is currently trading at Rs. 6.21, up by 0.03 points or 0.49% from its previous closing of Rs. 6.18 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 6.44 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 6.44 and Rs. 6.18 respectively. So far 2,94,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 7.40 on 27-Nov-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2.46 on 25-Aug-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 6.58 and Rs. 5.96 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,542.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 70.55% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.02% and 24.43% respectively.

Lanco Infratech has received its board’s approval to issue Compulsorily Convertible Debentures (CCDs) worth about Rs 350 crore on preferential basis to IDFC Bank. The board of directors of the company decided to issue CCDs of face value of Rs 10 each at par on preferential basis to IDFC Bank. This is subject to necessary approvals.

Earlier, the company had concluded a corporate debt restructure (CDR) with a clutch of banks, restructuring about Rs 6,500 crore in loans and Rs 3,500 crore non-fund based loans. When the CDR package was concluded, the IDFC Bank did not participate in the process
