Agro Tech Foods rises on buying 5.15 Bigha land in Howrah for Rs 3.01 crore

Agro Tech Foods is currently trading at Rs. 532.25, up by 0.75 points or 0.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 531.50 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 536.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 536.75 and Rs. 530.50 respectively. So far 690 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 714.40 on 19-Jan-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 524.75 on 13-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 559.75 and Rs. 524.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1295.23 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.77% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.93% and 35.30% respectively.

Agro Tech Foods has completed purchase of land in Howrah in West Bengal to an extent of 5.15 Bigha (around 1.7 acres) costing Rs 3.01 crore. The company has bought the same for expanding its manufacturing footprint in the eastern part of the country.
