Vardhman Special Steels to increase existing Billet Capacity to 165,000 MT

Vardhman Special Steels has decided to undertake expansion activities by increasing the existing Billet Capacity from 125,000 MT to 165,000 MT. The existing billet capacity of 125,000 MT is working at 100% capacity utilization. This step has been taken in order to meet higher demand from customers, increase in productivity and optimum utilization of new rolling mill.

The proposed capacity is to be added within time period of 1 year (by the year 2016-17) and is expected to be fully utilized in 3 years. The investment required to undertake expansion activities is in the tune of Rs 37 crore. The mode of financing will be through term Loan/ internal accruals.
