Unity Infraprojects plans to achieve 25% revenue from overseas by FY15

In a bid to ensure better rate of return and higher margin, Unity Infraprojects is looking to achieve upto 25% of its targeted Rs 5,000 crore revenue by FY15 from overseas markets. The company is looking for opportunities overseas in a big way and it intend to go to countries like Sri Lanka, South Africa and Gulf nations like Saudi Arabia with our areas of strength like building real estate and road construction.

The company has a small presence in Nepal and Bangladesh which contributes little to it’s around Rs 2,000 crore topline recorded last fiscal. However, the civil contractors is hopeful of taking the overseas contribution to its revenue to 25% in the next three years.

Unity Infraprojects is one of the largest civil contractors in India. It is the flagship unit of the Mumbai-based KK Group of Companies, which has its interests spread across a wide spectrum of businesses such as concrete block manufacturing, quarrying, hotel and organized retailing industries.
